Christina Pappas directly addresses camera: Hello Florida Realtors. Florida Realtors President Christina Pappas here sending our thoughts and prayers. As Florida starts to rebuild from the largest disaster in Florida history and to everyone who has jumped in to help their neighbors with time and donations.

Thank you. I wanted to share some quick information on how you can receive help from the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian. We have launched a hurricane relief center to help our Realtor family visit FloridaRealtors.org/ian-help, click here to apply for help from your State Association's Disaster Relief Fund or to make a donation. 

You'll also find a link to assistance from FEMA. Broken down county by county. We provided information on unemployment benefits, applying for small business assistance loans, insurance companies servicing Florida mortgage relief options, and the latest disaster updates, including businesses offering services and assistance to Floridians affected by Hurricane Ian.

Look for continuing updates and more information at FloridaRealtors.org/ian-help. You'll also find very helpful information on Florida Realtors News and through our social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. We're currently working on a special issue of Florida Realtors Legal News to address many contract issues that are coming up like force majeure and broker compliance issues. 

Also coming soon, an overview of how members can volunteer to help around the state. And for those real estate licensees who face a deadline of September 30th for their renewal. DBPR has extended that deadline to October 31st.

This includes sales associates, brokers, sales associates, brokers, corporate brokers, partnerships and corporations along with branch offices. Florida Realtors, your state association is here to help you, and those you love to recover and rebuild your businesses, your homes, and your lives.
